Kornit: the Breeze 921 now on sale!
June. 22.10

Founded in 2003, Kornit launched its first two products in October 2004,– the Kornit 930 and Kornit 931 Direct-On Garment Digital Printers. These revolutionary products were highly acclaimed by the digital printing industry and in August 2006, Kornit added the Kornit 932 Direct-On Garment digital printer to its collection. Today, Kornit offers a comprehensive line of products including the Kornit Storm 931-8, the Kornit Thunder 932-6 and the Kornit Paradigm 933 printers, and is privileged to have been the first company in the world to introduce white digital ink for textiles, making it possible to print
on dark coloured garments.

Available in June 2010 coinciding with the Fespa exhibition, the Kornit Breeze 921 is the latest innovation from the company. Easy to operate and to maintain, this industrial and yet small D.O.G and t-shirt printer is designed to allow garment decorators to enjoy high-end technology benefits at entrylevel costs. With its exclusive, value-added industrial design, this new digital unit is capable of printing on both dark and light garments and includes an automatic pre-treatment system built into the machine. Moreover, Kornit will be continuing its partnership with Spectra by once more featuring its unique ink system which includes 6 industrial print heads (CMYK and white), with 256 nozzles incorporated into each one. The printer can be hooked up to any computer, desktop or laptop, without the need for an air compressor, and can basically be operated from almost any site whether it be an office, shop or factory. In addition, Kornit will also be introducing at its stand the Kornit Storm 931-8 dual-pallet and the Kornit Thunder 932-6 single-pallet industrial digital printers for high-volume, low-cost production. The Kornit Paradigm 933 digital add-on station for combined digital & screen applications will be on display at stand #328 with Walz GmbH. Kornit’s distributor for Germany.

1 question to …
Yael Cooper, Kornit marketing/communications manager

In your view, what are the future developments that can be expected in the DOG digital printing market?
“Like every leap in technology, when it comes to DTG we believe that the market needs bigger and faster machines in order to meet the high-speed, high-throughput printing demands that are required for getting ahead in the fashion market. We believe that the next step in DTG would be the diffusion to the rotary machines’ industry.”
